9 DRILL MULTIBORE SPINDLE
Tekcel CNC has selected an industry standard, Italian made multibore spindle with a ten+ year proven track record, to install on our woodworking machines. The multibore spindle is an essential component in Nested Based Manufacturing. 9 position multibore drills are ideal for fast and precise drilling of holes for cabinet hinges and shelf dowels.

BALLSCREW DRIVE (ALL AXIS)
Tekcel CNC Routers are all equipped with ballscrew drive systems on all axes, ensuring 0 backlash, repeatability and long life. Driving the ballscrew are brushless AC Servo motors – precise, powerful and maintenance free. A Dual Drive gantry on the X axes allows meticulous squaring of our bespoke Tekcel CNC routing machine. Linear rail and linear guideway bearings ensure smooth, precise motion on all axes. These components combine to enable Tekcel routers to produce precision parts year in and year out.
DUAL DRIVE GANTRY (X AXIS)
TOOL LENGTH SENSOR
The Tool Length Sensor is standard on all new Tekcel CNC Routing machines. It is located on the front right hand corner of the machine tabletop. This wireless tool length sensor sets the length of the tool bit when a tool is placed in the spindle. The tool length sensor provides easy calibration of tool height offset. This option can be retrofitted to some past models of Tekcel CNC routers.
POP-UP TOOL RACK WITH 12 OR 16 TOOL CAPACITY
Tekcel CNC Routers are fitted with automatic pop up tool racks as standard. Depending on the width of the machine, the tool racks can hold 10, 12, 16 or 18 toolholders with tools. The tool rack manager in the machine controller allows you to specify up to 100 tools and allows you to allocate any of these tools to a specific seat in the tool rack. The operator can easily configure the machine for the job at hand using the tool rack manager settings. Complex jobs can be completed by the machine without the need of human intervention, promoting a safe working environment allowing the operator to attend to additional tasks. This option can be retrofitted to some older models of Tekcel machines.
VACUUM DUST FOOT
A Vacuum Dust Foot is a standard component on all new Tekcel Routers. The dust foot is fitted to the Z Axis of the machine and encloses the tool during operation. The dust foot includes a metal tube guideway to attach the vacuum extraction hose to ensuring a safe, clean work area. The base of the dust foot is fitted with an UHMWPE skid plate to avoid scratching the material that is being cut.

EASY ACCESS LUBRICATION POINTS
Standard on Tekcel CNC Routing machines, all ballnuts and bearing blocks on the machine are connected to remote lubrication points so that components requiring lubrication can be accessed easily with removing machine covers. This greatly simplifies the regular maintenance of the machine.
TOMMOTEK Gen III CONTROLLER WITH GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACES
The Gen III Controller with Graphical User Interface is the brain of Tekcel CNC Router. A massive amount of technology supporting the smooth operation of your bespoke CNC router is at the touch of your fingertips. The intuitive layout guides the operator through the job setup, machine setup, and running of the job. A novice can feel comfortable running the machine very quickly, and a seasoned expert will have all the power at their fingertips. The Gen III controller with Touch Screen Graphical User Interface can be retrofitted to all Tekcel machines.
VACUUM HOLD DOWN TABLETOP
Our Tekcel CNC Routing machines come standard with a vacuum hold down tabletop which sits on precision aluminium extruded slats equipped with T-Slot channels. The vacuum table top allows material to be quickly loaded and secured to the table top with the suction of the vacuum pump. Upon completion of the job, the material is easily unloaded when the vacuum pump is turned off. The operator is able to achieve targeted vacuum hold down by opening or closing valves in the manifold to suit the job at hand.
